Why you need IEC 61753 Grade A product?

1.     You can trust manufacturer specification.

-       At field work stage, products are showing much huge Insertion Loss(IL) value than manufacturer specification. Sometimes it causes claim from customer. Because they made a specification value at controlled lavatory with expensive Master Patch Cord. But our Grade A products improve this weakness through Random Mating Test. Random Mating Test is measurement process between normal patch cords. This test show us what exact expectation Insertion Loss.

-       All our products pass Insertion Loss and Interferometer test. So you can make sure your Insertion Loss value at work field, and prevent customer claim from higher Insertion Loss product. Also save the time and money for change the claimed product. And you can make much accuracy Insertion Loss control for Solution and System products.

 

Random Mating Test result

Random Mating is a method of cross-mating patch cords from manufactured batches without use of Master Patch cord or Adaptor as specified by IEC 61300-3-34. If the tester chooses 10 samples, sample 1 will be a reference cord instead of Master Patch Cord. And measure IL of sample 2 to 10. After IL measurement, change the reference cord to Sample 2 and check the IL value of Sample 1, Sample 3 ~ 10. Repeat this Insertion Loss test and check all Insertion Loss value between every connectors.

 

Quality control

1.     End-face check

-       We check every connector end-face before we send it.

2.     Interferometer test

-       Every connector must pass the interferometer specification.

3.     Insertion Loss test

-       Every connector must pass the Insertion Loss test with 2 wavelength(1310nm, 1550nm)

4.     2 Weeks term Random Mating Test

-       2 Weeks term tester pick the sample from production line and proceed Random Mating Test.
